very minimum wage
After all of the time children spend working to buy food for their family, they get barely any pay. Since companies only pay their young workers a small amount, the laborers have to work double the amount of hours to feed their family. Companies get away with paying child laborers almost half the amount of money they pay adults even though they work the same amount of time. That is unfair to them and their paycheck. That money barely supplies them with basic grocery items. Consequently, most families starve and do not get enough nutrients to be healthy. Not having enough food causes children to be weak, and that can cause the quality of their work to be poor, which results in being beaten by their bosses. The amount of money child laborers receive is unacceptable and not nearly enough that they deserve.
